T203900132Donatella Cabras and Gabriele Reuter have created RELAY in collaboration with media artists Morgan Caney and Vent Media. Two parallel worlds are connected via TV and video links to transform nearby Goodenough College into a performance space, interface and playground between the audience and performers. RELAY dares you to disguise, transform and question roles, identities and realities, creating a performance unique to the audience on the night and determined by your choices and engagement with the performers - your willingness to relay. Donatella Cabras has been collaborating with Gabriele since 2006 and is now specialising in dramaturgy and social theatre at the Centre of Theatre Research in Milan. She has performed for companies including Punchdrunk, Lost Dog, Siobhan Davies Dance Company and Diversions. Gabriele Reuter is a dance artist, performer, teacher, choreographer and curator of improvised performances and workshops based in Berlin and Nottingham. Over the last year Gabriele’s first solo works were shown at the nottdance08 festival, The Place, Tanztage festival in Berlin, Springdance in Utrecht and the Moviemento6 festival in Santiago de Chile. | |
