H2DANCE is Hanna Gillgren and Heidi Rustgaard, choreographers from Sweden and Norway respectively. Presented by H2dance and What if: projects. ON/OFF is a dance festival where physical energy- pedal power- is transformed into light and sound for a program of performances featuring both professional and amateur dancers. Performed in a vacant car showroom in Chatham, this ?happening welcomes all to get involved: the performances rely on audiences to provide the lights by pedaling the bikes that provide the power. A range of dance styles and their encounter with each other and the audience will form the base of the choreography. The participants will inspire the show and be at the heart of the event.
