India Dance Wales is the first and only professional Indian Dance Company in Wales, with extensive experience of working in education. Formed in 1993 as the Kiran Ratna Company, the pioneering spirit of the company has created innovative and challenging work based on Classical Indian Dance involving other art forms such as storytelling and visual art. Dance Variations combines three different dance styles originating in India. Embodying the beauty, charm and gracefulness of each individual style, Dance Variations features the highly traditional dance form of Bharatanatyam, the mesmerising technical style of Kuchipudi and the street folk dance style of Koravanji.
