Formed in 1996 by one of Britain's foremost colleges for the performing arts, London Studio Centre's Jazz Dance Company provides performing and touring experience for its final year students specialising in Jazz Theatre Dance. Many members of the company have had extensive professional experience in the commercial theatre. The Jazz Dance Company presents a lively programme that reflects the rich diversity of jazz dance styles, ranging from the intricacy of tap dance to sensual Salsa rhythms, from the lyricism of contemporary jazz to the exuberance of musical theatre.
