The Show Must Go On

Having deconstructed performance with The last performance (seen at the ICA as part of The Place’s 'Out of Place' season last year), Jérôme Bel rebuilds it from scratch in The show must go on. A subversive and funny epic framed around popular songs - from Leonard Bernstein to Queen - involves 21 performers responding straightforwardly to the soundtrack, yet revealing themselves, the music and the spectacle in totally new ways.
