Welcome the Year of the Rooster and come and see this spectacular show of Chinese dance and acrobatics! The Confucius Institute at Oxford Brookes University is delighted to host this amazing performance to celebrate Chinese New Year. A team of performers showcase a range of Chinese performing arts, from the exciting Lion Dance to the daring stunts of Chinese acrobats. As well as traditional Chinese dance and an energetic kung fu performance, there will be a skilled puppeteer carrying out the dazzling art of face-changing, or bianlian, which involves changing masks at lightning speed.
