Glacier
Commissioned by the Southbank Centre and DanceEast. Supported by the Mercury Theatre Colchester, LABAN and Arts Council England. Emotionally charged, uniquely virtuosic and daringly physical. Seven outstanding performers dance along the edges of melting glaciers and broken off ice floes in a highly imaginative work of dance theatre and cross-artform collaboration.
Glacier is both hauntingly beautiful and disturbing, transforming the stage into a world of ice and snow where suppressed feelings break through frozen planes, icicles turn into tears and icebergs come crushing down.
