T0 Choreographer Liz Pavey is completing her Masters degree in The Body and Representation at Reading University. As part of her final project she is creating a new dance work which explores the use of the body as a site to evoke humour. This short piece is influenced by the writings of Bakhtin on carnival and the grotesque body. Liz is a lecturer in the Dance Studies department of the University of Wolverhampton.
