A wide range of dance styles are represented in performance by emerging professional dance artists: Butoh from dancer Ana Barbour with Vjay Dariusz Dziala; Kathak from choreographer Anuradha Chaturvedi (Drishti Dance); dance with film and music from dance/film artist Naomi Morris and live band Smilex; contemporary dance from choreographer Josephine Lott (Firefly Dance Company); tap and percussive dance with dancer/choreographer Hannah de Cancho (Soul Rebel Tap) and dance and the spoken word from dancer/choreographer Paulette Mae. Each artist has been developing their piece at the new Pegasus dance studio and working with a creative mentor since December last year. The programme is funded through Arts Council England and is based on the theme Moving with the Times interpreted in a variety of ways.
