Internationally renowned dancer and choreographer Nahid Siddiqui is the leading exponent of the ancient Kathak dance tradition of north India. She has won much praise for her ability to mix an innovative approach and dynamic use of Western designs and staging with a reverence for the classical origins of the dance form. Once Upon a Time - Drawing on stories from Britain, Pakistan and India, the company will fuse its trademark Kathak, a storytelling dance form, with the oral storytelling tradition.
