Noumena: A Journey Through Plato's Realm of Forms
T0
This contemporary dance work portrays Plato's view on the creation of the world and the nature of human existence. For Plato, forms exist outside the visible world, and mankind is doomed to perceive only limited images of these forms. In Plato's famous allegorical cave, chained prisoners see only elusive shadows illuminated by a fire behind them...but is there an escape?
