Theatre Artist Guy Dartnell and Director of BAC Tom Morris ask the question what happens when a 12-18 month year old is let loose in a soft, safe space with someone who follows and reflects their every sound, move and mood? The interaction between children and performers, joined by the audience of parents and carers, creates an unpredictable celebration of innocent being. A kind of gentle ballet unfolds based on infant sound and gesture, a meditation on how the child's thought process manifest itself as he or she gets to grips with a new, entertaining situation. Oogly Boogly discovers a new meeting place between the worlds of adult and child, a spontaneous experience for both performers and participants, where in fact we could begin to wonder which is which.
