Rachel's Threshold is inspired by Walt Whitman's Leaves of Grass - a poetic realisation of what it can mean to be part of the human community. Crossing from familiarity to freshness, three women find newness in small details; they move through scenes as through pockets of the poem, sharing energy, togetherness, quiet and solitude; spending time and thought on the threshold between ?this' world and 'that'.
