Seeta Patel is a dynamic young British talent, highly acclaimed for her skill, unique perspective and contemporary presentation style she brings to the beautiful and ancient South Indian classical art form of Bharatanatyam. Acclaimed dancer Seeta Patel joins forces with Australian choreographer Lina Limosani and Polish born visual dramaturg Dagmara Gieysztor in this poignant work, which brings Seeta's expressive Bharatanatyam skills together with Lina's theatrical physicality in a work that looks at Bharatanatyam free from its exotic and skewed rhetoric, and at the power wielded by the whitewashing of history.
