Two solos are performed one after the other. Distinctly different worlds; contrasting, and seemingly unrelated. But in a third act the two solos miraculously interlock, forming a complex duet that sees all elements combine. As the solos combine, new meanings emerge. A chemical reaction occurs and a new psychological space is revealed. What appeared separate is now not. In this fugue-like tale of synthesis, DUAL asks questions about individuality and what is sacrificed as well as heightened by a union.
