Twelfth Floor - T384428287

A darkly funny physical exploration of human interactions in confinement, set in a mysterious institution. Five extraordinary dancers (Australian Dance Theatre and DV8) play out shifting relationships of desire and power, of hope and despair. With a rich combination of dance theatre, video and a moody soundtrack from DJ Tr!p, this is a sophisticated and original work, moving effortlessly from tender, lyrical moments to brooding menace and explosive physicality. This work was Winner of Outstanding Choreography and Outstanding Female Dancer in the Australian Dance Awards 2006, and this performance is a celebration of Tanja Liedtke's choreography and life.Producer Dance Touring Partnership.

Construct - T01638502549

Australian Dance Theatre luminary Tanja Liedtke makes her London choreographic debut with construct, following on from her extraordinary performance in DV8's The Cost of Living. Winner of the 2006 Australian Dance Award for Outstanding Achievement in Choreography, Liedtke examines the sharp, rigorous and sometimes curious work that goes into the act of building a home, a relationship or a dream. Liedtke and her dancers, former Australian Dance Theatre performers Kristina Chan and Paul White, use inventive movement and simple design to evoke the familiar, the domestic and the unexpected twist. Please note: construct contains some scenes of nudityChoreographer Tanja Liedtke.
