Telford College is Scotland's largest dance training provider and offers courses ranging from Foundation (NC) HND through to BA (Hons) Dance. A stunning double-bill of fresh dance talent. Elevate is the youth dance company for the North East of Scotland run by citymoves dancespace. Through a series of auditions, 10 young dancers aged 14-18 were chosen to be part of this exciting company for a year. Elevate, will perform their first piece, Rough Vibes choreographed for them by Paul Joseph. Taking Flight, the 3rd year BA(Hons) dance students from the Centre for Professional Dance Training at Edinburgh's Telford College, present a diverse evening of dance. Using a mix of Jazz and Contemporary Dance styles by choreographers Alan Greig (X-Factor Dance Company), Winifred Jamieson & Jennifer Blake, the thirteen young performers will take you on an exciting dance journey. This is a unique opportunity to see these young dancers from the only course of its kind in Scotland today.
