Varsity Dance Competition
A showcase of original choreography, diverse dance styles and musical interpretation, the competition promises to be a spactacle of showmanship. Nothing but the most enthralling dances make the cut, with intricate choreography, innovative ideas and raw passion to try and win over the hearts and minds of the audience, as well as impress the judges. Dance styles are hugely varied, from the grounded contractions of street dance to the gracefulness of the ballet pieces, and the high energy, fast-paced commercial jazz numbers. The competition will end with the hotly-anticipated freestyle dance-off, improvised on the spot by individual troupe members in the quest for glory.
