Struck by the frustration and solitude of developing new dance works as the years pass, the challenge of how to get a work ‘seen’ and the limitations of an ageing body, Thierry sets out to find a way. On his journey he encounters some of the ‘greats’ of French contemporary dance, asking for their advice and assistance, and in the process moves seamlessly between the realms of fiction and reality.
