This is Modern sees Tom and Pete dance their way through some improbable truths, curious connections and whopping lies to explode the mystique that envelops contemporary dance. Combining a satirical blend of stand-up comedy, physical theatre and dance that will delight young and old, dance insiders and first-timers, the show guides us comically through a century or so of dance and reveals the choreographic devices employed to try and stop audiences from getting bored. A very funny show, but one that also manages to show us just how moving and beautiful contemporary dance can be.
