Charged by live music provided by Jazz saxophonist Iain Ballamy and percussionist Kaaraikudi Krishnamurthy, the company of three women are joined by master dancer Marvin Khoo to perform Ulaa and their new piece Tat. Tat, Sanskrit for 'That', refers to the universal energy of women and reflects the three aspects of womanhood - wisdom, creation and energy. Ulaa, the Tamil for 'procession', reflects Sankalpam's own artistic journey.
