Details

A tribute to Phyllis Kempster, founder and Director of West Midlands Youth Ballet since the inaugural performance in 1975, who died recently. The performance features excerpts from Nutcracker and the popular Danish Ballet Napoli, a contemporary dance piece, and Concerto Two, an original work created for the Youth Ballet by Phyllis Kempster, set to Shostakovich's second Piano Concerto.
