December 31st 2005 - Somerset House will open on New Year's Eve for exclusive access to the Courtyard, one of the most beautiful outdoor locations in London. Tickets will include optional ice-skating, hot chocolate, champagne at midnight and a view of the spectacular fireworks show from a unique vantage point on the River Terrace. The Ice Cafe and Bar will be open all evening until 01:00, serving hot snacks and drinks. With free live music and entertainments on the ice and, for the extreme at heart, opportunities to win a free climb on the Ice Wall.
