24 Hour Madshow

Poole Arts Centre is going mad again with the launch this week of the second 24 Hour Madshow, scheduled to take place from 19:30 on Friday 3rd September till curtain rises on the he Towngate Theatre stage 24 hours later. 250 people with little or no theatrical experience will cast, rehearse, stage, publicise and perform a well-known musical show - all in 24 hours. Anyone sixteen or over can take part. A professional team of directors, choreographers, costume and set designers will be on hand to coach and cajole but the bulk of the production will be made and performed by enthusiastic amateurs. The identity of this year's production will not be known until just before the mad day arrives but fun, excitement and very little sleep is guaranteed for anyone who takes part.
