April 23 is the 436th birthday of William Shakespeare, Man of the Millennium. Shakespeare's Globe will be marking the occasion with the following events: Spearshaker Talk with Mark Rylance, Martin Prechtel and Globe Theatre Company actors from Hamlet and The Tempest. Middle Temple Hall, Wednesday 19 April 19:00. Sonnet Walks from Westminster Abbey to Shakespeare's Globe Saturday 15 April and Sun 23 April. The Southwark Mysteries Sunday 23 April 18:30. Tickets are available from Shakespeare's Globe Box Office.
