Since 2001, The Regent Theatre had been celebrating dance, offering a fantastic stage for the talent from across the region. This year's event, titled Lest We Forget, will be a celebration, reflection and remembrance of those who fought for our freedom during the Great War, and honouring those who have given their lives in more recent conflicts. The event is dedicated to the memory of those who have been involved in conflicts past and present, particularly those of Stoke-on-Trent and Staffordshire. This year the event will see 40 dance companies and 1200 dancers join forces for will see an amazing array of styles, from Irish to street, from tap to performance dance, all on stage at The Regent Theatre.
