The open door festival begins with Raised Voices (14/15), two nights of vocal talent from the African Caribbean Community in Leicester. Words Up (16) is the spoken word at its best. Using poetry, rap and story telling to present experiences of the African Caribbean Community. Spinned (17) is the last event of the festival and involves an evening of DJ and dance spins together on one stage. The performance will include a presentation from the Dance and Drumming Workshop and the Storytelling Workshop that will take place earlier in the day.
