Bristol's annual festival of physical and visual theatre. Mayfest was born in 2003 at Bristol Old Vic. Since then, the festival has been on an incredible journey, spreading its wings across the city but we are proud to be the spiritual home of Mayfest and welcome a programme of work into the theatre packed full of new, world-class local artists, the best dance and theatre from around the UK and international artists at the top of their game.
