June 24th to June 30th is National Refugee Week and marks the 50th anniversary of the United Nations Convention of Refugees. During the week a whole range of events highlighting the cultural contribution that refugees and asylum seekers make to life in this country will be taking place all over the UK. Joining the celebrations, Artists in Exile and Riverside Studios are creating an exciting programme of works to be shown day and night throughout the week.
