The Belfrey Theatre, has launched a new drama competition to celebrate the life and work of the late Derek Lomas. Derek was a member of the theatre for many years and also a playwright. He had a number of plays published and some were broadcast on the BBC. There will be a prize and the winning play will be produced by the Belfrey Theatre. The plays can be serious, comedy, full-length or one-act.
