A festival of new writing. This Easter, the egg theatre plays host to one of its biggest and most ambitious projects yet. Over two hundred local people, aged from 5 - 82 have been writing, rehearsing and producing fully-staged new plays, script-in-hand performances and excerpts from works-in-progress for the OUT OF YOUR MIND festival, which runs throughout the Easter holiday. More than one hundred young people, aged from 5-18, and a further one hundred adults have been working together in intergenerational casts and companies ? in many cases, several generations of the same family have been involved, with parents and grandparents performing works written by children and teenagers, and vice versa.
