November 2003 and The Northbrook Theatre once again rock to the thrice-yearly Popular Music Performance Festival! On Tuesday 25th it’s the turn of the new blood: first performances by the first year ND and HND students. On Wednesday 26th relax to the soothing sounds of the second year HND’s performance of Jazz Standards. Featuring some timeless classics you are cordially invited to take your place at a table, pour yourself a cocktail and drift away on an ocean of major seventh chords! On Thursday 27th the second year ND students present a performance of songs made famous by seminal ‘70’s West Coast band The Eagles. Featuring ‘Take it Easy’, ‘Desperado’, ‘One of These Nights’ and culminating in a veritable guitar-fest for ‘Hotel California’. Flared jeans, cowboy boots, denim shirts and cheesecloth blouses - dress for the occasion if you dare!!!
