Runga Rung

This celebratory carnival piece is the culmination of weeks of work. Community groups have joined with international masters of procession and fireworks Emergency Exit Arts to create a truly unique public celebration which will process through the streets of Norbury leading to a closing performance in Norbury Park. Runga Rung features some dramatic elements including a large steel elephant pulling a mobile cinema screen which will show Bollywood Films; dancers on the mobile stage in front of the screen, augmenting the film; stilt walkers and performers in seriously big costumes; and a finale party featuring the tower of love, life and death and some dramatic fireworks.
