For 14 years, the International Playwriting Festival has been at the cutting edge of new theatre writing from around the world and has launched the careers of many successful writers. Since 1996, a partnership with the prestigious new writing festival, Premio Candoni-Arta Terme, has enabled an ongoing exchange of the best contemporary writing from the two countries. The Sharp New Writing from Italy season will showcase the work of top contemporary Italian playwrights through English and dual language performances.
