The Spice Festival returns for a third year and this years celebration promises to be the biggest yet! Following the huge success of The Spice Festival 2006 this year will feature over 50 events in and around the Hackney Empire ranging from Exhibitions featuring known and unknown Hackney Artists , the critically acclaimed Spice Sessions in the Hackney Empire main house to cutting edge theatre produced by both established and fresh new talent. This year we have the addition of Spice House featuring two weeks of Roller Disco! With music and visuals provided by some the hottest club nights in London and with the Spice Arts café downstairs running a separate calendar of events this will prove to be another exciting destination for Spice 2007. Once again 'Spice on the Square' will be back, this year on Sunday 15th July featuring a huge market of work from designers and makers from Hackney with fantastic food and entertainment from all over the world all with that touch of carnival spice. So if you are looking for independently minded exciting events featuring Music, Art, Comedy, Drama, Fashion, Rollerscates, Film, Clubbing, Literature, Food, Cabaret, Puppetry, Poetry, and Dance these two weeks are for you !
