The London Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2001
T0
This one month season pulls together some of the most exciting and original new talent from the Edinburgh Fringe together with some old favourites to pack the full flavour of the Fringe into 44 performances over 4 long weekends. The season is created from many of the personal "discoveries" of those working for the Pleasance this summer. We hope they are a good mix of the shows, writers, performers and ideas which gave us pleasure, and we hope they will send, if not shockwaves, at least shivers of pleasure and excitement to our London audience. A chance to catch some of the highlights of the 2001 Edinburgh Fringe Festival (at the Pleasance) - not just the big hits, but the discoveries and stars of the future performing in their first shows- see them here first: From new writing to sketch comedy to physical theatre to musical cabaret- there is something here for everyone, including Nicholas Parsons. Most of the shows are only about an hour long- if you want to see more than one or in a day (to get that true Edinburgh feel), there are some great offers to take advantage of.
