The Pace of Time is a series of events over one weekend in the studio theatre that explore different perspectives on time, to coincide with Conrad Shaw?crossTimepiece in the Main Space. A Refutation is an experimental and collaborative live music performance between artists Ashley Paul, Tom James Scott and Nik Colk Void inspired by two concepts: simultaneity: different planes of consciousness co-existing duration: the time or experience of pure feeling outside of chronological order Multiple sources of sound form a live setting that involves sound as present, future and past experience, to be treated as whole or distinct. 'The end is where we start from' - TS Eliot The evening features a score created by Ashley Paul that will be interpreted by each musician on their instrument(s) for an improvised evening of live music.
