Six Shows, Six Weeks, One Company. In 1938 John Counsell created the Windsor Repertory Company at Theatre Royal. In a homage to our heritage, we will bring together a team of professional actors and creatives who will prepare a repertoire of plays which will be rehearsed during the day ready to open the following weeks, while that weeks play is performed each evening. The actors always learn a great deal from this experience, sometimes finding themselves working as stage manager one week, only to be playing the lead role the next!
