OTC's Writers' Block weeks are an exciting and prestigious platform for new work, attracting big names and extensive industry recognition. Successful transfers from recent Blocks include The Holes In My Skin by Phil Porter (to be produced at Manchester Royal Exchange in 2007) and Other People's Shoes by Drew Pautz (produced by ETT at Soho Theatre earlier this year). This Block sees new work by exciting young writers Chris Lee, Anders Lustgarten (currently on attachment at Soho Theatre) and Gbolahan Obisesan. We also have the British premiere of Nest, a new work by Bathsheba Doran, in a rare outing prior to its US productions.
