The distillation of both traditional and not-so-traditional folk music in the last decade has conjured up anti-folk artists like Devendra Banhart and Jeffrey Lewis from the US, as well as the stripped down back to basics folk of the wonderful James Yorkston here in the UK. In celebration of what has now become a definitive movement in modern singing and song-writing times, we bring two nights of new folk faces, some already familiar to the ICA, some treading our boards for the first time.
