Hawksley Workman and the Wolves have been serving up a terrifically versatile set for a good few years now and this seems genuinely poised to erupt, via Workman's audacious new offering Lover/Fighter. Joy Zipper's impeccable psych-twang has been leaving observers gob-smacked for some time, whilst idiosyncratic Liverpudlians, Ella Guru, complete things tonight, back at the ICA after a legendary performance at the Rough Trade Weekend. This will be a glorious evening, combining vintage melodious charms with sheer soundscapery.
