Chiffonade is a beautiful piece of dance theatre designed for pre-schoolers and toddlers. Cocooned in a giant squishy chrysalis, a dancer and a multitude of fabulous fabrics become partners in a dreamlike dance. The choreography allows the dancer to explore all the textures of the material - it is not only touched, but rustled, pleated, torn, worn and even used as a disguise! Chiffonade follows the poetic journey of growing up, and how the way people see us changes as we age, with a joyful surprise for everyone at the end!
