A living storybook about loss, longing and the treasures of memory and imagination. In Grandad and Me we meet a little girl whose Grandad has gone, even though his favourite job was being her Grandad. Armed with her mouse, a hopeful heart and some jam sandwiches she traces his footsteps on a magical adventure: exploring fishing trawlers, meeting characterful Scottish seagulls, flying to the moon, and an adventure in Grandad's Italian ice cream van. Using original music, choreography and animation inspired by the illustrations of Jon Bishop AKA The Grey Earl Grandad and Me creates a world in which anything is possible and the big questions are asked.
