This intensive week-long activity for 8-11 year olds in the Easter holidays gives you the chance to develop your skills and stage an original musical written by Peter Kyrke-Smith. With a focus on drama, singing, dance and movement, you will work with professional theatre-makers for a fun and exciting week of activities. The first Olympic Games were religious festivals as much as sports competitions, and the Greek Gods always took a very keen interest in what happened. Greece Lightning! tells the history of the Games in Ancient Greece, and what happens when the Greek Gods turn up rather unexpectedly for the Opening Ceremony of Rio 2016!
