A story of a boy who meets a dragon that isn't your average fire-breathing monster. The terrifying reptile he expects to meet is instead a charming artistic lizard who has a love of amateur dramatics. He reads poetry, gives his best Hamlet and certainly makes a lovely afternoon tea. They have many adventures until one day Sir George the dragon killer comes to town. With some quick thinking they decide to stage the most wonderful dragon slaying ever seen! This is a wonderful tale for all the family by the same people who brought you The Velveteen Rabbit with comedy, puppetry and adventure including a beautifully crafted five foot dragon!
