Who would imagine you could make soup from a stone? Sonya has just such a stone in her travelling bag and she says it will make a delicious soup for her new friends. As they make the soup, they tell each other stories, and the ingredients are added bit by bit. A story about sharing and making friends, Stone Soup cooks up a tasty mixture of comedy, puppetry, stories, and songs. The young people who participate in Milton Keynes Theatre's Artsworld Interactive programme of regular workshops perform for the first time on stage! The programme includes short pieces demonstrating the skills developed through First Act, Second Stage and Third Act and the tale of Stone Soup derived from the ancient folk tale - a piece by Milton Keynes Theatre's own theatre.
