The Cat That Walked by Himself

T0
This play of light and shadow, the most ancient of all the puppet arts, tells the classic Just-So story of Rudyard Kipling. Inspired by traditional paintings of North-east India, these moving shadows beautifully re-create the story of the time when the world was young, and Woman tamed Man, Dog, Horse and cow but . . . did she tame Cat? Narrated with gentle humour, this magical performance is created using simple technology and will entrance all those over the age of five. Also included in the program is a short piece "The Big Surprise", an original and slightly wacky tale of gastronomic adventure. Two overhead projectors are used to create a live, gentle and colourful animation. Suitable for ages 5+ years.
