One day, two elderly peasants make a baby from the snow. The baby miraculously grows up to become a beautiful maiden. This enchanting story is perfect for Christmas and is a well known folk tale in Russia, it introduces the audience to many central characters from Russian folklore including Father Frost and Baba Yaga. A family show presented by 'The World Through Wooden Eyes,' which is an extensive collection of the life work of master puppeteer, John M. Blundall based at the Mitchell Library.
