This production will see the Intermediate Youth Theatre Group perform some well known classics loved by all. The melancholy 'Little Match Girl', tells the story of a cold and barefoot child who is out on the streets on New Year's Eve selling her matches. With each match she strikes to keep her warm the little girl has a vision of glorious Christmas scenes. The final 'version' shows the little girl being rescued from her cold, sad life by her grandmother. Other stories include 'The Snow Queen' and 'The Brave Tin Soldier'. Prior to the main performance, the Junior Youth Theatre Group will also be performing 'The Ugly Duckling' also by Hans Christian Andersen. Run time approx 2hrs
