Every Christmas the students of Middle Temple elected a Prince of Love who presided over the Inn's unruly celebrations. Twelfth Night is all about love and misrule, and Anthony Arlidge, QC and acknowledged expert on the history of Middle Temple Hall, shows how the play was the perfect vehicle for these celebrations.
